As a student, Dover had an absolutely incredible time with the unforgettable Dome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was levitating in ecstasy,\u201d Dover said. \u201c[the] Dome provided satisfaction like no other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dome also made classes like Physical Education more intimate and exciting, said another Whitman alum, Constance \u201cConnie\u201d Lingus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGetting Dome time made boring PE classes worth it,\u201d Lingus said. \u201cIt took a long time to clean up after the Dome, but it was the most engaging form of exercise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A former Whitman gym teacher, who asked to remain anonymous, also felt a cosmic connection with the shapely Dome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDome was a great way to connect with students,\u201d the teacher said. \u201cIt just allowed everyone to come together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dover says that even though current students might never experience Whitman\u2019s Dome, it remains a shining memory for Whitman alums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
