It\u2019s getting cold outside in Maryland \u2013 which means it\u2019s time to start wearing jackets to school. While we\u2019ve had a warm front this past week, we\u2019ve interviewed almost every Whitman student about their winter wardrobe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most students have already prepared their warmest puffer jackets or their favorite hoodies to wear for the winter. But, these four male students \u2014 who have preferred to stay anonymous \u2014 say they have no plans to participate in the jacket-wearing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know, man,\u201d one boy said. \u201cWearing a jacket seems kind of feminine.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll tough it out. I usually just stay sprinting at all times, so I never really get cold,\u201d another replied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat the hell am I supposed to do with a jacket? Tie it around my waist? No thanks,\u201d the third answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat comes after wearing a jacket? Wearing pants other than my sweatpants? I don\u2019t even own a pair of jeans,\u201d the fourth testified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The interviews about winter apparel angered the group of boys so much that they actually started flexing to prove how \u201cmasculine\u201d they were. So, what does the rest of the community think?
