Halloween is approaching in only a few days, and you can feel the buzz in the halls of Whitman. October 31st marks a day of joy and Halloween festivities for most people \u2014 but November 1st scarily creeps around the corner.
\u201cI was at a haunted house this weekend, but all I could think about was college applications,\u201d one senior said. \u201cThat night I had a nightmare about my teacher not submitting their recommendation on time.\u201d
In a poll conducted by the Rutabaga, students of all four grades were asked the scariest part of Halloween. Freshmen said clowns, sophomores said zombies, and juniors said bloody vampires: but seniors said \u201cnot getting into college\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
